CONVERSATION JOB INTERVIEW

I am : Excuse me, Sir. May I come in?

Mr. Henry : Yes. Please, come in and have a seat.

I am : Thank you, Sir.

Mr. Henry : So, your name is Fuad Arif Rahman, right?

I am : Yes, that is right, Sir.

Mr. Henry : Very well, my name is Henry. I am the head of the human resource department of this Pharmaceutical Distributor.

I am : Nice to meet you, Sir.

Mr. Henry : How are you this morning, Fuad?

I am : I’m perfectly fine, Sir. Thank you, and how about you?

Mr. Henry : I’m fine too. Thank you. Did you get caught under the rain on your way coming here, Fuad? It rained this morning.

I am : it was just a cloudy day in my place, Sir. It didn’t rain when I left my house to come here. So, the rain must have stopped before I arrived here.

Mr. Henry : I see, I’m happy for you.

I am : Thank you, Sir.

Mr. Henry : So, do you know what we are going to do, Fuad?

I am : Yes, Sir. I was emailed and called by phone in order to have a job interview session from this company two days ago. So, now here I’m going to be having an interview job session with you.

Mr. Henry : Very well. Can you tell me about your self, Fuad?

I am : My name is Fuad Arif Rahman. I’m 22 years old. I graduated from one of Senior High School in bekasi. I took Social Sciences as my major. I like fishing and futsal. Fishing and futsal both improve my health mentally and physically.

Mr. Henry : You applied to be our Merchandiser. Do you have any experience of this job?

I am : No, Sir. I am a fresh graduate. This is my first time to apply a full time job.

Mr. Henry : What makes you decide to apply for Merchandiser position?

I am : I think Merchandiser is an appropriate job position for me. I find it attractive and interesting as well. Due to the Social Sciences I took, I’m sure that my skills and talents will be conducive to this company’s success. I can also see a bright future of my career by joining this company.

Mr. Henry : Very well. So, what is your strength and weakness point?

I am : My strength is my cheerfulness, my carefulness, my strong will to learn new things, and my skill to work under pressures and as a team. My weakness is easy to panic when in a new atmosphere.

Mr. Henry : Well, it was a great time to have a little talk with you, fua. We will announce the result of your interview in a week. Thank you for coming here.

I am : Yes. Thank you, Sir.
